Guests flew and drove in from all over the country to witness Adam and Alison say I do at the beautiful The Magnolia Venue at the Parkside Resort in Pigeon Forge, and such a joyous day it was. Despite a little..ok a LOT of rain, everyone danced, sang loudly and had a blast.

One of the things that Alison loves most about Adam is that he is her “calm” and her “peace”. When the rain came and forced us inside mid-ceremony, they could have let that ruin their day. Nope. They were too filled with joy and happiness. It was like magic to watch them together, and watch the way she literally lights up when he speaks. That was one thing that Alison said Adam does on daily basis that makes her so happy - he is constantly making her laugh. (You will see what she means.) Adam said he loves that she has a servant’s heart; which was evident as she was making sure everyone else was ok and taken care of… on her own wedding day.

Alison and Adam planned their entire East Tennessee destination wedding remotely from Ohio. A wedding planner herself, and one of the most organized brides I have met to date, it is not surprise that Alison planned a perfectly beautiful, intimate and romantic wedding day. From the tree that contained soil from both of their parent’s properties back in Ohio, which both mothers watered as part of the wedding ceremony, to the cake topper with their favorite quote from Parks & Rec “I love you, & I like you”. The pair were married under an arbor that was made by her father, just for this occasion. Alison told me that she wanted her wedding day to feel timeless and romantic, and that it did.
